Inspired by the Jackson Gamers North Central Frontier Campaign and the battle to clear The Road to Barfus ( link ) we set about an epic refight. One question we had was how do people handle steep terrain? We only allow 1 dice movement (+3" for natives) when climbing the slopes |

That game was so long ago that I don't recall how we handled movement up and down the steep terrain. Your solution sounds fine to me. By the by, I'm the guy with the glasses on the left in the second picture reaching out to move some figures. Jim |

We use four types of elevated terrain: Gentle: No Penalty Rough: Lose the high die Steep: Move half distance, rounded down Precipitous: Move one-third distance, rounded down Only Colonial/Imperial forces pay movement penalties going up or down elevated terrain; indigenous forces pay no penalty. |
