… and the doctors said; "Curse, he's not dead! Where did we go wrong??"

Yes folks, in spite of the best efforts of modern medical science, I'm still here. Sore and battered in places that no-one should be, but with paintbrush-holding appendages intact and functional, which is, of course, what matters!

Thanks to all who have extended their good wishes to me while I was undergoing all this cutting and slicing. I'll think twice before I take a blade to my next project, thinking it'll be ok to cut out a bit here or there… now I know what it feels like…

"Don't get cocky, kid!"

If the knife doesn't get you they have some nasty hospital-bred staph infections that eat antibiotics like candy.

Glad to here everything went well.

You have to be alive to hurt. Prayers for a swift recovery.

Any chance you can get them to go back at you for a "best out of three" attempt?

Seriously, rest and heal.

"but with paintbrush-holding appendages intact and functional, which is, of course, what matters"… congratulations Sir!!! I have been trying to paint with that for years (it shows on my figures) but I have never quite succeeded…
