I have been thinking about adding some Zouaves to my 28mm Confederates. In particular, I was thinking about the Junaluska Zouaves from Thomas Legion (the NC 69th Regiment) which included two Companies of Cherokee Indians. I wondered if anyone had information on the uniforms these soldiers wore? |

Not sure what can be inferred from these pictures: link All images of Thomas and his officers are in fairly standard confederate uniform. The colorful jacket next to the Legion flag in this shot is tantalizing, however. thomaslegion.net |

Thanks, I emailed the museum to see if they had any info on the units uniforms. That picture us tantalizing… |
