Following a painting crisis Atelier Robin has done some world war two commissions. Here is a burlap armoured Firefly. Much of the detail that went on has been covered by the cammo scrim and real cloth strips. Looks OK. Lot of work though. Churchill got the same treatment. Cool, but I thought the purpose of these strips was concealment, not "armor." They are actually camouflage nets, as I understand it. Either way, these look great! |

It's ablative armor – when a shot hits it, it lights right up and burns off. Those look great. My compliments on way too much work… - Ix |
