Plastics were never painted like that when I was a lad.

Beautiful, I agree with Brian, I never saw plastics like that back in the day.

Agreed

A lot better than what I pushed around the kitchen table with Grandad in the early 90's

Just one of the many reasons I like 1/72. They can look really good painted up. Too many people seem to dismiss them out of hand as kids toys, but IMHO they tend to look more realistically human sized.

Good spot Armand

Proportions are flawless, as is always the case in scales below 28mm. I have no idea why so many folk in The One True Scale cannot take a moment to look at what a human being…not a Hobbit…looks like. It should be easier in 28mm! Instead we see what the Germans can do in metals in 1/72 or AB in 15/18mm.

Heck, Perfect Six can do buttons on 6mm cavalry plastrons……

Be fair. Perrys, Gringos, Westfalia, Calpe with notable exceptions for all of them………can do it. Not sure the rest do.

A human head…..a human arm…a trunk….the legs….there are rules designed by our creator or Darwin……I accept the argument that they want to distort them to look right for a wargamer, who wants to see them from a drone's eye view…….

I will not mention trumpeters on greys. The effect is great. I still do it. OK, it might not be right but…….

Always depressing to see better detail on 1/72 figs than on your own 28mm!

Lovely grass too
