I bought some resin kits of the M7 Priest but they had no gun. They were cheaper and I knew that there was no gun. I bought as I have always wanted to make some defrocked Priest APCs from my British link Steve |

They're so neatly finished, they look like production models. Nice job! |

They finished conversions look nice, but … are they Priests? Were they Priests to start? Every M7 Priest I've seen (pictures or in person) had a "pulpit". That's what earned it the nickname "Priest" in the first place … a rounded protrusion on the right side of the hull that was the commander's station (with a ring-mounted .50cal), that reminded the British of the pulpit in church. This was a pretty visible characteristic of the M7 Priest, and to all information I've seen was retained on the "Defrocked Priest" conversions. But I don't claim to know too much about Defrocked Priests, so perhaps I will learn something here. So … what happened to the pulpits? -Mark (aka: Mk 1) |

The models did not come with the 105mm gun or the MG ring. But when M7s were converted in the field various bits were removed anyway, see this mortar conversion for example (I hope it comes through!) link
