… prophesied hero — here's why it could be Jon or Daenerys. "Sunday's "Game of Thrones" episode introduced a new mysterious religious servant — Kinvara. According to the priest who introduced her, Kinvara is the High Priestess of the Red Temple in Volantis. She is also introduced as the "Flame of Truth, the Light of Wisdom, and the First Servant of the Lord of Light." Quite the mouthful (and not unlike Daenerys' lengthy list of titles). So who exactly is Kinvara, and what does she have to do with the Mother of Dragons? Kinvara appears to be the leader of all the priests and priestesses serving the Lord of Light, or R'hllor. Melisandre technically reports up to her, sort of like a lower clergy would be duty-bound to the Pope. The Red Temple in Volantis is like the Vatican, to carry on with this metaphor…" See more here link Amicalement Armand |

I think Jon and Daenerys will rule together. So both priestess are correct. First there armies will form battle lines to fight each other then Sam will arrive with the news of the white walker armies approach. They will join sides and defeat the undead etc. afterwards get married and rule Together because Jon is half targaryen. Or fall in love but one or both die at the hands of the white walker even though their armies win the day. Lol Cheers Duane |

If Jon Snow is really the son of the dead targaryen son of the king. Would that not make Jon and Daenerys related. I think she would be his aunt? |

If Jon Snow is really the son of the dead targaryen son of the king. Would that not make Jon and Daenerys related. I think she would be his aunt? That is normal for Targeryens. In fact almost mandatory. |

All prophecies suck. I wouldn't count on any predictions. |

In all GRRMartin's work, prophecies are always misinterpreted and all POV characters make false assumptions. |

Prophecies are the worst device ever. I refuse to play in any RPG where one is the basis of a campaign, but I do love that JRRM likes to muck about the "reality vs prophecy" thing. |

I think it is Tyrion who was sired by a Targaryen. I think Brienne is headed off to meet her fate as she heads to meet the Blackfish, just to get her and Podrick out of the way. Things have to get cleaned up as they continue to add side stories and there are a finite number of episodes left. Add in that Bran has the ability to influence past events to affect current events (but not in a traditional way). Winter is coming and nobody seems to really care, even those that have seen the White Walkers and their undead Army. So, which is more important to the whole series, who sits the Iron Throne or the final clash between humanity and the White Walkers? The members of the Red Temple seem to have pull with the almighty and I expect will work to insure they are represented on the winning side. |
