Work continues on my 1/600 models. Rigging on the Kearsarge is as complete as it's going to get.
Work on the Minnesota's rigging is about 2/3 complete.

Some beautiful work! I love the look of the rigged ships but was wondering just how you accomplished this? I searched through your blog but I could not find any details. I've tried adding rigging to my Thoroughbred ACW ships using piano wire, but with even careful handling the wires keep breaking off. |

The secret is the wires break off with annoying frequency. It's basically cut the wire to length and secure with CA glue. I'll write up the process and post it to the blog. |
