I have finished up some early war TQD Germans in 20mm and need some one for them to fight. Can anyone recommend some (not plastic) 20mm French or French Colonial troops? Thank you! Dan |

I got mine at Early War Miniatures. Just don't buy the unit packs. They contain a lot of guys who are prone or carrying submachine guns. |

I don't do 20mm (too committed to 28mm and 6mm), but if I were to do this scale, hands down Blitz French. link All of the correctly armed models and enough poses to do proper 12 man rifle squads. FM gunner and no. 2 with pistol as is correct for the French. All you need to build a squad is a pack each of BFI 2-5 and you get a sgt., all the riflemen, and the FM team. The only thing missing is VB launchers, but they could be converted using one of the rifles. They also have Goumiers too. TQD Castings does French Cavalry Motorcyclists/Infanterie Motorisee which are really nice sculpts and plenty of poses to do squads. link link |

Like Bill McHarg I like the fact that I can buy individual figures from Early War Miniatures. I can customize my sections/platoons and if playing Chain of Command I can find extra crew members where needed and most support options. earlywarminiatures.com |

Thanks Gents! I already have some Battlefield/Blitz and EWM figures, should have thought to check them out. My group are pretty much fantasy/sci fi gamers and this is another attempt to get them interested in historical gaming. |

Early War miniatures are very good. SHQ do some but not a full range as far as I can see |

Wargames Foundry do a 20mm range, it includes French infantry, support weapons, Foreign Legion, Colonial troops and Resistance fighters. Figures were sculpted by the Perry twins, so decent sculpts. link |
