I put together a photo montage video from this weekend's Drums At The Rapids convention at Fort Meigs in Perrysburg, Ohio. You can see it here:

Great video and music.

My plans to run a game Friday night rapidly fell apart soon after announcing my intention… I was able to make it up Saturday for a couple of games, and got to try out the Black Powder rule set, which is the main reason I made the trip. Thanks to the Colby's, the GMs, and everyone else involved. The fort is a very cool place to do some gaming.

Yes. There was an aeronef game.

Thank you for posting that. Playing in a couple of games in the morning and then running a game in the afternoon I wasn't able to see as much of the other games as I would have liked.

Unfortunately I had to split before the third session Saturday night to drive back to Pittsburgh.

Overall a well run con. It is a shame that the historical sites in my neck of the woods don't see the advantage of such an event.

Pictors … what games were you running?

Thanks for posting that John. Did you find out what the extra Conquest board was for?

Wigglesworth … I've got my younger son on it. I got it for him. He's the house board game geek.

A really nice presentation, thanks John for posting it. I was at the registration desk most of the day and didn't see many of the games either. This location is the absolute best for a show of our size. Where else can you play a game and look out the window and see a 7 acre stockade?
I would like to say thanks again to all of the game hosts that make our little show a success every year.

And remember we do this again in November on the first Saturday. We do the World at War game day to support the site by offering our games for free. All you have to pay to play is the regular fort admission, which drops to $5 USD on November 1st.

I ran the Carlist War game in the afternoon on Saturday. You have it in your video.

Also thanks to you Doug for doing such a great job in setting this up and running it. This is the third event at the Fort that I have attended and I would go to more of them if it wasn't a 4 hour drive.
