Wonder to know how the fellow members percieved, some time ago, the quality of the service when you will enter / post / comment / etc in the forums … I mean in a correct way or with some or many difficulties. Let's put this under a rating number from 1 to 10 … where 1 is worse than lousy and 10 more than excellent … My vote goes for 4… And have to said that each day this number decrease… But… Hey!… maybe I'm the only one… so your number is??? 7 A lot of bug issues. It can be hard to navigate. It's okay, but not wonderful. Mike Bunkermeister Creek Bunker Talk blog |

It has its quirks, but I find them rather endearing, in a sort of "classic car" kind of way. The ones who seem to have the most problems with it post much more often than I do, so maybe it's just a matter of playing the odds. In any case, Bill is certainly aware of its limitations or he wouldn't be publicly contemplating a 4.0 (which may or may not be vaporware). It does what I need it to do, so I'm going with a 7. Or maybe 8. |

7. I frequently cannot post topics due to lockfile issues. |

Tango: It can be annoying but other fora have their own quirks as well. Best to prepare for the worst and hope for the best by backing up your content before you post. Rating is 6/10 for glitching. Cheers and good luck amigo! Rod Robertson. |

Don't hear much about 4.0 these days. TMP is broken and increasingly technically unfit for the job it has to do – I'll go with about a 5. |
GarrisonMiniatures | 21 May 2016 11:54 p.m. PST |
Having started going through todays posts and seeing how active the bug is being that 5 looks very generous. |

The bug can be a pain. There are too often, too many boards under various periods. Separate rules, scales, figure lines boards make things more tedious, not better. But, overall, I prefer TMP's layout to every other site I visit. There is less clutter, fewer useless gizmos, and almost always fewer clicks to where I want to go. With the bug and too many boards, 6.5 Without the bug, but too many boards, 7.5 With either, 9+ |

8. OK, lockfile bug slightly irtitating, but I like the fact that I can search back several years to find answers to my questions. Board organisation is generally sound. |

6 Mostly because of that lockfile error continually interfering with a basic function of the site. And the mandatory re-indexing every day. The old girl is showing her age. |

I'm a 9. Lot's of information if you know where to look or if you ask a question. TMP has caused me to up my painting game and the look of my table. The few minor technical issues are nothing compared to the value. |

Up to this thread, the average is 6,75%… not bad!. It's not only the bug problem … the statistics never work again… I cannot used the "delete" button nor the search for author… the mixed threads… etc. I have the feeling that we are losing people with this … specially at night when the doom hour began… see how few threads are there… Amicalement Armand |

Exactly at 9PM (TMP hour) began the "Doom hour"… Why in the hell Bill cannot fixed this???? (smile) You know exactly the hour … no new post from them… you can tried one or one and a half hour to post one new thread… and then… the site closed… Maybe would be better directly to shot down the site at 9PM? Or at least one big leyend saying: "Hey!… you can only read here… but not write!"… (smile) Amicalement Armand |

I give the BBS itself a 5 (software, organization, administration, etc.). The community is a 9. There's a lot to read here, and a lot of good pointers to other places buried in the jungles of the Internet. One thing I like about TMP above many other web BBSes is the flexibility in customizing my personal feed. That's a really good feature. - Ix |
