Hi Robb, Nice to still see some LOTR gaming action. I'm assuming you are using Strategy Battle Game rules. Nice figures, nice terrain and it sounds like you all had fun.Did Eomer cop it? Thanks for showing. |

Eomer got really, really close to dying in this battle, exhausting his Might and Fate by the end. In the last turn or two he began to have some luck swing his way and survived the conflict, however. It's been a long, long time since I've played this game, and it was really easy for the new players to pick up the rules. Most of the Rohan miniatures were actually cannibalized from SAGA, BTW. |

Nice AAR. It looked like a fun game as well.
Everything, table, 'troops' it all looks great. Your friend did a great job setting this up. I have a good number of Gondor, Orcs, some Rohan, Easterlings and Haradrim and still yet to play more than two small SBG's. I keep finding "cool" miniatures that "I'd love to paint." and plan to get back to gaming (rarely do) later. Im doing this wrong. |
