I'm actually planning about a Star Wars Imperial detachment compatible with FFG X-Wing miniatures, searching for AT-AT walkers, AT-ST etc. I found F-Toys 1/350 miniatures on E-bay but no confrontation pictures about them. Anyone tried them before? Help please! Thanks for supporting me. |

At 1/350 scale they are said to be 6cm tall. This would make them about 21m tall which sounds correct. At 1/270 scale (same as X-Wing scale) they would need to be closer to 8cm tall. But these look like very nice models and you cannot go wrong with the price I have seen listed. I have some from another source (an old AMT plastic set) which are 10cm tall.
Micro machine AT-STs are pretty good and are around 4cm tall, so might be too tall next to the F-Toys AT-AT.

Thanks for the answer, think I will try the F-toys ones, the price is really appealing and in case they could go for wrecked ones too! Do you remember the one kneeling to the front after being hit? Awesome! The Force be with You! |

I'm interested in seeing your plans for movement dials and Stat cards on this… |

Actually stil looking for miniatures only, rules, stats etc. are only thoughs at the moment … Eventually could use a system like X-Wing, less energy shields and with reduced maneuver and movement, plus disembarking and assault actions for troops. A lot to think about! |

D&D Attack Wing had rules for ground based units as well as fliers and I believe everything still used the same style dials. Might be worth looking at as a starting point. AT-ATs might just be Giants with bows stats-wise. |

*D B Draft, how did you determine the scale of X wing stats? |

In the original core rulebook I am sure I recall reading how FFG went directly to the models used in the original trilogy movies. They then used these at a scale of 1/270 to create their models. This of course only applies to "small" and "large" ships as their "huge" ships are at another scale (around 1/450?). |
