Well this season has seen quite a few deaths already.

Roose Bolton – I was expecting him to be killed
Prince of Dorne and his son
Every single Khal
Theon's father

So who is it going to be this week?

Odds are good for the High Sparrow but I don't think he going to be killed off just yet.

But one thing is for certain on GOT someone is going to die.

Who asked this joker20 May 2016 1:29 p.m. PST

Is it episode 9 already?

Disco Joe20 May 2016 1:38 p.m. PST

Wouldn't it make more sense to ask who is going to live.

Winston Smith20 May 2016 1:58 p.m. PST

Loras

Winston Smith20 May 2016 1:59 p.m. PST

My money is on Melisandre too, as soon as Ser Davos finds out what happened to Shireen.

kallman20 May 2016 2:32 p.m. PST

Everybody dies.

I think Lancel might bite it soon.

"Okay Who is Going to Die next in GOT"

Everyone!

Mithmee20 May 2016 4:28 p.m. PST

Everybody dies.

True but sometimes they come back alive – Jon Snow

But yes I think someone will die down in the capital. Loras and Lancel are both good choices.

jowady20 May 2016 4:36 p.m. PST

Possibilities (narrowing it down from almost everybody) SPOLIERS BELOW;

Rykon, Ramsay is probably busy torturing him to death as we speak.

Jorah, knowing that he will never have Dany and that he is facing a slow horrible death alone picks a fight with Daario to kill himself.

Whatever poor fool has to fight the reanimated Mountain (probably Lancel) to prosecute Cersei.

Melisandre offering herself as a sacrifice for burning Shireen in a failed attempt to get Stannis to win (really, in the books every time she asks to see "The Prince who was chosen" she sees Jon Snow, I mean has she never seen Cinderella, doesn't she know how this stuff works?)

Just my guesses, in no particular order. I wish it was Ramsay, I hate that little creep.

They are ALL going to die, but if they are really popular some strange priest will bring them back so they can kill off even more of the main characters.

Goober20 May 2016 5:40 p.m. PST

I'm rather hoping Littlefinger will get the c**p kicked out of him. Ideally by Brienne. Or Sansa. Or Jon. Or all three. Ghost can have a chew too.

Maybe they'll all die and Ned Stark wakes up in bed with Suzanne Pleshette…….

Rudysnelson20 May 2016 8:52 p.m. PST

I just now got the season five set. So I am trying to catch up. Oh well.

Surprisingly, I don't believe Tommen is on the hit list.
The witch prophesied to Cersei that three of her children would die before her, and gold would be their shrouds.
People tend to forget her first child from Robert, who died as an infant. Cersei tells Carelyn this in the first season, first episode. The witch got her math wrong, but at this point three children have pre-deceased her.

Which is a big problem in the deviation between the books and the series. And one wonders if the Series shouldn't now be considered "The Canon" since it is increasingly unlikely that we will see Book Six this year.

While I think it's possible that Tommen dies in the coming Civil War with the Faith I think it unlikely although it would open a number of interesting questions. Westeros would have no clear claimant to the throne that I know of in the series at least. In the books you would have Shireen but of course she has been killed in the series. Dany's claim or Aegon's from the books (but we can discount Aegon since he isn't in the series and we know that GRRM and D&D have sworn that they will have the same ending.) both descend from an overthrown Royal Blood Line.

So, if you had your money on Hodor…..

Winston Smith23 May 2016 7:12 a.m. PST

I would have made a bundle!

Winston Smith23 May 2016 7:14 a.m. PST

Next week, I predict that a bunch of Tyrells will buy the farm. Since the Lannisters and Martells are now officially mortal enemies, that seems like a logical Cersei diplomacy coup.

Tango0123 May 2016 10:14 a.m. PST

Cersei instrucctions to his brother are… the Tyrells must died? (as the Sparrow of course)…

Amicalement

Crazyivanov23 May 2016 5:59 p.m. PST

My bets:

Kevan Lannister, he's a minor character and HBO hates those
Robert Arryn, I'm legitimately surprised he's still alive.
Edmure Tully, NO RESPECT
Mace Tyrel, Maybe they trick him into fighting the mountain? see point the first.
Varys. He has served every point he possibly could, it would be a legitimate shock death and that's something they need.

Still no excuse for frelling up "The North remembers."

Mithmee23 May 2016 6:35 p.m. PST

Well Bran sure knows how to screw things up.

Hodor – Hold the Door bites the dust holding the door.

Prior to that:

Summer should have just followed Bran and the others

Child of the Forest goes out with a bang

Littlefinger got lucky and gets to live for now.
