Remembering Marx WOW Figures

If you were a kid in the 1960s who loved history and toy soldiers, you probably had a WOW figure!

I recently purchased the Perrys' Battle in a Box and have started to paint up the units. This is going to be a very fun project. I have posted more pictures and a review of the set on my blog: winserswargames.blogspot.com
Please check it out and let me know what you think.

Very nice. I am just about to start work on mine.

The number of figures you have is correct. You will get one entire Zouave unit plus another Zouave base of six. That base of six makes up one of the three bases of another formation.

I spoke to Alan Perry about this and he said it was to represent that sometimes a regiment would have a single company of Zouave attached.

Well done, Sir! I ..so.. wanted to get this, but I really cannot start another project. Plus with the number of figures….I would never get it all painted….

I would be really interested in seeing citations for this.
