Does no-one make these in 15mm?

Amongst the main manufacturers I can find Frontier Light Horse, Natal Mounted Police and various mounted Boers but can find nothing suitable for the Natal Native Horse – and you can't really do Isandlwana without them!

Thought of adapting some mounted Boers but inevitably most are bearded rather than clean shaven, so it's not so easy.

Had high hopes that Blue Moon would do the definitive range for the Zulu War, but new colonial releases seem to have ground to a halt, unfortunately.

All suggestions welcome – I've got the lovely Empress 28mm versions and I've seen the HAT 20mm ones but this is one gap that seems more difficult to fill.

No one does make them in 15mm as far as I know.

I suppose you might ask Ian at Irregular if he could do it.

Blue Moon are nice but they are very 'gappy' in their ranges.

Minifigs do Natal Native Horse in 15mm. The troopers are code 4CC and the command set is 5CC: link

Nearly all my Zulu/Boer war figures are Minifigs.
But there are also some excellent figures from Naismith. Including Natal native horse mounted and dismounted.

Table Top also had NNH figures in 15mm (I like them better than the older MiniFigs casts I have seen, despite the fact that the horse and rider are a single cast). C8 in this pic:

I see them on eBay from time-to-time (although I am not sure if the ones on eBay are re-casts or not).

Old Glory 15s makes them, too

I don't think OG-15's do them: I can see NMP, FLH and Boers but no Natal Native Mounted Contingent types – do you have a code/picture?

COW06 Native horse.

Thanks Henry but, unfortunately, they're European (Frontier Light-) horse rather than Native Contingent/Basuto Horse :-(

Well, I have Old Glory NNH figures myself (bare legs and feet, spear in right hand, and quiver full of spears at right rear), purchased many years ago (they're excellent figures with good definition, sharp detail, and character) so OG15s clearly makes them.

I have a vague recollection that, because of the small size of the historical units, the irregular Zulu War cavalry packs might have contained more than one type. NNH and FLH could therefore conceivably be packaged together, but why not ask OG15s for a definitive answer.

That's VERY good news, I'll do precisely that, much appreciated!

Just received a pack and it's exactly as you described – 2 of the four poses are clean shaven Natal Native Horse with spear quivers – thanks for the tip!
