I had cataract surgery and have recovered my color vision. I want to paint something for my Dr's desk as a thank you. Looking for something colorful in 54mm or larger.

Suggestions?

Thanks,
Brian

Is it something your doctor wants for his desk? Is he a gamer? Is there a particular period of history he is interested in?

Plastic or metal?

I have some 54mm figs on E-bay, look for Sarangkhan or Bussler figures

If he is an eye surgeon, a Beholder seems appropriate.

I'd go with either ACW or AWI figures, maybe a matching pair of opponents. Plenty of nice 54mm for both conflicts.

Beholder….that's too funny !
Doesn't matter plastic or metal…..was thinking Murat or Gen Washington, Pharaoh in a chariot?

Might take a look at 40mm. They really are not that much smaller than 54mm. miniatureservicecenter.com

they are not 54s, but Old Glory had a set of surgeons or maybe it was a medical group. Can't remember for sure, but I think it was in their 25mm ACW line of figures.

I did a diorama for my orthopedic surgeon as a thank you. Another consulting Dr happened to mention a historical figure that had the same issue as me, so I did a multi-figure diorama based on him. I included a framed biography so the Dr. wouldn't forget ho the mini's are and the connection to his practice.
He really seemed to appreciate the gesture…
