Cheers

…actually the miniatures that Northstar picked up were originally made by Helion. The Baker Co. figures were something different. I too am curious about what happened to the Baker Co. too..

Curiously, Bruce Weigle, on his Grand Tactical Rules site, lists a number of manufacturers. Under Baker Company he states they market the figures originally produced in the 1990s by………….HELION! All getting a bit circular, isn't it?

I think they were called Helion at one point but they were indeed not the current Northstar 1866 range (sorry Nick but thanks!!).
I'll post some pics when I get the chance as i picked some up on ebay a while back – a lot have separate heads you know.
They did Prussians too as you might expect -quite slight figures and Foundry compatable. I then picked up another 90 or so, again on Ebay which are in the same positions but much chunkier but clearly the same style. Again pics to follow…

Ha my mistake, I have both makes in my Army, Baker Coy had the original Helion Range before it became the new Helion Range that North Star now have! I recall chatting to the owner of Baker Coy at a show few years back, he was getting rid of the range, cannot remember what happened to them,

For comparison the two units rear centre with Black Crosses are Baker Coy, the rest Helion/North Star 1866
