"airbrush paints" Topic

Hi, I am getting into airbrushing and have seen various references to the newer ranges from Vallejo (Game Air), and Minitaire by Badger I think. Minitaire boasts of not needing dilution, mixing, thinning. Does anyone know if this is the case for Vallejo and what is the difference to Vallejo Model Air vs Game Air? Any preference on paints, I hear Minitaire dries too shiny.

I got back into airbrushing last year when I started back into WWII…thus airbrushing all my armor. A friend recommended the Vallejo Air paints. The paint doesn't need dilution, mixing or thinning…just the standard of shaking the bottle a few times and its ready to go. The paint goes a long way and dries flat. Works like a champ!

Don't know if there is a difference between the Model Air or Game Air…maybe in the different colors offered in those lines. Something similar to the Vallejo Armor colors in their regular paint line.

The difference is that the model air paints are more for modeling and the game air are more for fantasy. I've used both in my air brush and you just use them straight out of the bottle if you wish. With a good shake in the bottle first.
