I'd like any recommendations for 1/72 figs that are suitable for representing the Canadian forces deployed to Afghanistan between 2003 and 2014.

Plastic are preferred, but I doubt such figs exist, so metal are also fine, as I wouldn't be putting together more than a platoon anyway.

All advice is welcome!

Caesar Miniatures makes a lot of modern infantry types, some of them might work. You may have to mix and match a bit.

Pegasus Hobbies in Montclair, CA carry them.

Bunkermeister,

Thanks for suggesting Caesar – the figs in the two US modern (US modern and US Modern Elites) sets are reasonably close to Canadian kit (no surprise, given how much Canadian kit is derived from US gear). I think with a 'paint conversion' they'll do the job nicely.
