link Evening all, Project Jutland continues a pace with my 4th batch of ships done, blog post has lots of pics of the new stuff. There are two Helgoland Class along with the 6 Pre Dreadnoughts of the German High Seas Fleet plus some misc Light stuff. I have taken the opportunity to work out progress so far and I am just over 50% complete on the Germans and 46% complete on the British . That's at 1 ship model per ship including Destroyers at 1/2400. It's mostly Light stuff left. I did consider scaling back the Destroyers to 2:1 but thought what the hell, I may never get chance to do this again especially with this much space for the display, so let's do it properly ! I may try and take it to some shows next year, let me know if you have the space. Regards Ken The Yarkshire Gamer |

Nice work! I'm making progress for our 100th anniversary game on the 29th. We are scaling down the Battleship clash because of space limitations although I have all the capital ships. |

Nice bases. YG, how much space will you need for the game? |

Hi Rallynow, cheers. We are still looking into the exact size and once all the big stuff is finished we will have some run throughs at our club my home table is 12 x 6 and that is nowhere near big enough, the British Battle Line is 15 ft long by itself. For the main table I think 6ft is the max width due to player reach but I think it will need to be at least 20 ft long if not bigger. We will also need feeder tables either side of the long edge of the main table with a walkway between them so say 4 ft for the walkway and 4 ft for the feeder table at each end we are looking at 22ft x 20 ft as a minimum plus we want a screen showing the Jutland animation (if we can get permission) plus information boards, a big clock for game time and a big display for visiblity range. Oh my head is hurting, Bury head in sand and start painting ! Regards Ken The Yarkshire Gamer |

Ken, that sounds like it'll be quite a spectacle. Keep up the good work! |
