Blah blah SPOILER AKERT!!! blah blah blah No one is likely to be spoiled by spoilers by the title, so I shall continue without remorse. Ave atque vale, Osha. (Damn, the number of times autocorrect tried to hijack the last sentence…) I love how badass Sansa has become. Now Jon has a purpose. And the interactions between Ser Davos, Melissandre and Brienne were fun. I think Tormund fancies the large lady. Martin has said that Dany is NOT immune from fire. I'm glad that D&D have ignored that. |

Que? Is that like receiving the black spot, only more colorful? |
John the OFM | 15 May 2016 8:35 p.m. PST |
I am being deliberately ambiguous, to placate the weepy SPOILERS haters.. In fan reaction to Ramsey's letter from the books, it is called the Pink Letter. BTW, I really like Cersei's new do. I've had the hots for Lena since she was Mrs. Leonidas. |

What a really "Pink" letter he received! (smile)… full of love!!…. (smile) What a great bed encounter between Tormund and Brienne!. I would like to see that!! (smile). Two thousands (and maybe 45 Black Watch?) against five thousands or many more counting the traitors?…. It depends of Little Finger Army or some Dragons to be a level playing ?. What do you think John?… But the biggest and badass Army is now at hands of the beautifull Kaleesi!!.. What about that?. She would return to Mereen? … Don't mess with this beauty!!… Sad ending from the wild woman… I was expecting more from her… in the books is the same?. And what about the Pirates?… with whom they will Ally? Just some questions for now… Amicalement Armand |

Armand, the books are no help now, and haven't been for a while. |

Plenty of Spoilers here as well as some bizarre theorizing on my part.
Armand, the books are no help now, and haven't been for a while. I think with the possible exception of Bran's Story line everything is beyond the books now. Sad ending from the wild woman… I was expecting more from her… in the books is the same?. In the books Rykon and Company are still in hiding. Two thousands (and maybe 45 Black Watch?) against five thousands or many more counting the traitors?…. It depends of Little Finger Army or some Dragons to be a level playing ?. Ramsay has made a ton of enemies in short order, Jon with the Wildings plus Davos and Melisandre will probably get some help from the North. The Ironborn will want a measure of revenge. The Freys will be after him as well although I don't see Sansa entering into an alliance with the people who killed Robb and Catelyn. Here's my latest theory, we had the War of the 5 Kings, now we'll have the War of the 4 Queens (Dany, Cersei, Maergery and Sansa) then we'll have the War of the 3 Bishops (Ja'qen, The High Sparrow and Melisandre) and we'll finish with the War of the 2 Knights, (Jon and Jaime). Martin has said that Dany is NOT immune from fire. I'm glad that D&D have ignored that. I agree, that was a very powerful scene. I think it puts the audience on notice that she is a Queen and a Powerful person. No way are either Jorah or Daario going to rule her. And Tyrion and Varys may be her advisors but Dany is going to be calling the shots. I also like how they have handled Melisandre. She has I think been deeply humbled, first by Stannis' defeat and death and now by Jon's resurrection. I don't think that she'll be so quick to burn anyone anymore. 45 Black Watch The Black Watch is my favorite Scottish Regiment. 5000 Boltons vs. 45 men of the Black Watch? You're going to need more Boltons. I love how badass Sansa has become I think Littlefinger had better watch out. Sansa knows that he sold her to the Boltons and I think she knows that he knew that they were monsters. I think in short order the student (Sansa) may surpass the teacher (Petyr) in….da da dahhh! The Game of Thrones! |

Again, more spoilers (but really, if you're worried about spoilers why on Earth are you reading a thread like this? If I don't want to know the score of a game I don't watch the sports segment.) I love how badass Sansa has become. Now Jon has a purpose. Suddenly many of the female characters are on the ascent. Dany just killed all (or most anyway) of the Khals and has taken over the Dothraki, Sansa has prodded Jon forward, Cersei and the Queen of Thorns are about to kick the Faith's (really, with Cersei and the QoT getting together to help Maergery I almost heard Beyoncé's "Lemonade" playing in the background) behind and Maergery has shown that she's stronger than Loras. It's an interesting turn of events for a show that has sometimes bordered on misogyny. I think they could have entitled last night's episode as "Sisters are doin' it for themselves". Oh and for John OFM, yet another "Knife in the back" rescue huh? |
Dan Wideman II | 16 May 2016 9:39 a.m. PST |
I think the Sparrows are doomed. When they were meeting with Cersei, Kevan, and the Queen of Thorns they pulled out "The Rains of Castamere" as the background music. That never bodes well. |

To underline the fact that Ramsay is a bad-un what will they have him kill next, kittens? Unicorns? |

I'd expect Ramsay to be defeated and killed towards the end of the series – unless they keep it as a cliffhanger / unfinished business for the next series. I'd say he's now set up as the main challenge for Jon Snow to get rid of, show his mettle, etc, on the way to building a Northern Alliance. I'd not give Rickon long unless a) things speed up up North and Jon & Co pile in to settle Ramsays hash sooner rather than later or b) Someone gets to Ramsay first from a sneak attack. |
Doctor X | 16 May 2016 2:52 p.m. PST |
Does anyone really care what happens to Rickon? He's been a minor character the whole time. In terms of story line discussion I say he is expendable and expect him to be flayed in short order. Maybe even used as a banner when the inevitable fight comes. |

My money is still n Ramsey to sit the Iron Throne(tm). |
Mithmee | 16 May 2016 6:07 p.m. PST |
Oh don't forget that if Sansa calls for a followers she will get them. Oh and lets not get that Jon also has giants. But there is also the Blackfish out there and one other group that has not even made an appearance yet and that is the people of Rowland Reed, sure his daughter is with Bran and his son is dead but there are more of them out in those marshes. Yes Ramsey will have the Freys and Ironborn to deal with along with the Jon and Sansa. But Sansa has learned from the best and she will out for blood. Bolton blood and then Lannister blood. |

Oh and the army of the Vale is marching North as well. Their Lord needs to take the same trip as his mother. |
jowady | 17 May 2016 2:21 p.m. PST |
Their Lord needs to take the same trip as his mother Not into puppets? Actually if he dies who is heir to the Vale, is it Sansa since she is Lysa's nearest living relative? What happened with the family-Army of the wife of Stark? In the books at least many were killed in the Red Wedding, Catelyn's Father's force bent the knee after the capture of Riverrun by Jaime. The Blackfish is on the run and the Lannisters hold the Lord (Edmure) as a hostage along with his Frey wife. That's basically the way that the books have it, I think that a lot of that isn't in the TV Series. |
