"Prototype 1920 . Built by M Gastambide and M Levavasseur (of « Antoinette » motor fame), this curious aircraft was fitted with an extensible wing--extension was through retractable flaps. Two machines were built. Test flights were carried out by the pilot M. Grandjean. On 25th of october 1920 the reception by the Technical Department of the Air Ministry took place. At the next « Security Contest » the project was awarded a prize of 10000 Francs. All this without any follow-up for many years"
