Micheal PERCY, not Perry – my bad! (Editor – could you possibly correct the title?)

It's still fantastic news though!

Here is the link to the announcement on FaceBook: link

And for those who don't use FaceBook, here is what I've written on my blog about it: link

I hope this presages a Landsverk AC from Blitzkreig as well.

With a moniker like "May '40 Miniatures," will there be other countries, especially "small countries," added? Or is this really just, "[The Noble Netherlands defends its honor, if not its territory in] in May [1940]… Miniatures?"

The teasers look interesting, and indeed tempting! But I'm left wondering -- a) how they'll compare to Gothic Miniatures' renditions, and, b) will troops from countries less well served (or not as well) by other large and small businesses be on offer; Denmark, Luxembourg, or Norway, for example?

Are there pictures of the figures anywhere yet?

Arteis0215 May 2016 10:33 a.m. PST

@Bobgnar: No pics of the fully completed figures yet, but there are several photos showing progress on the greens on the May '40 Miniatures FaceBook page mentioned above.

Hi all, Sander here from May '40 Miniatures.

The plan is to eventually cover all the trooptypes of the Dutch army in 1940 and the KNIL. Though this will take time. For now we are concentrating on the basic infantry and several support weapons. I can't speculate on other countries yet. Though I'm intrigued. First things first, Dutch infantry and then the next step. If you have any questions or comments please feel free, preferably on the FB page or by personal message.

Cheers!! Sander

p.s. Jager1815 is because I reenact a Dutch jager from 1815 during the Waterloo campaign. ;-)

Dutch Marines; Rotterdam? The "Black Devils," for their tenacious defense, IIRC?

Marines are on the board. But just not right away. Follow the FB page closely, like and share and we'll have some new pics up in a couple of days.
