Getting ready to start a new 40mm project: wondering what brand / color green others are using for Rogers Rangers figures-?

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

The shade that's within reach on your table. Unless you want parade ground Rangers, it will fade very rapidly, and inconsistently.
You will get a lot of suggestions here. Use them all.
My contribution: Ceramcote light forest green.

Thanks John: I want to go with a faded, 'out in the field' look.

Agree with WS here. I use Ceramcoat Light Forest Green, Forest Green, Light Foliage Green, and Medium Foliage Green. I thought about Dark Jungle Green, but decided against it. Avoid bright greens (e.g., Kelly Green, Jubilee Green, Christmas Green, etc.) since those would not have been "in period".

Faded out green uniforms become brownish. When in 1779 the Provincials were ordered into red coat, at least those stationed in N.Y., the commander ot the 1st American Reg't., The Queens Rangers objected stating how their green uniforms faded out to a brown thus blending in with the Autumn leaf colour.
