Would work in space.

It was a shortish article I pay like £2.00 GBP or something for it. But I don't rembmer what is was called or where i bought it. it dealt with how a possible war would happen in the real world.

Well Atomic Rockets has essentially all that stuff, just in detail and broken up (end point, interstellar war in space, as opposed to interplanetary, is likely not happening. As a political scientist I can add some other factors to their technical ones. But yes war in space would require a lot of ifs to work. Even interplanetary outside the close earth sphere is probably a strech)
