Well worth a visit, as is the sub next door and of course the New Jersey. When I visited the sub the docent in the engine room had been on the sub that rescued George Bush senior after he had been shot down.

I have visited both the Olympia and the sub. If you ever get a chance to see the two on the same day it is an interesting contrast. The rooms in the sub are claustrophobic to say the least; while the rooms on the Olympia reminded me of a cruise ship with guns. Suffice us to say, that if I had to choose between the two, I would definitely prefer to have been a sailor aboard the Olympia than to serve on that sub.
