So I finally got to play my 2nd game of Alpha Strike last night, actually my 2nd and 3rd game as it turned out.
Davion vs Liao 450 points mechs mostly from 3025 ( my preferred era)
Games took between 90 and 120 minutes each.
First game a shameful Liao rout and the second a glorious Liao victory

Hey Heavy Mechs were brutal. They can take multiple hits and still have armor, and they pack a wallop. My poor JaegerMech went up with just two hits. Taking light mechs is like playing Arabs vs Crusaders, you gotta shot and run and hope they never get close.
I'm also adding a Victor to the company if that answers your question. |

Good to see giant robots doing their thing. Was wondering if tanks and infantry are used in Alpha Strike and if they are, are they of any practical use? |

Yes, tanks, artillery, infantry and air support can all be used. Haven't used them yet but I've seen the cards and the tanks at least look quite effective. |

Great table and looks like great fun. Although I have to root for the heroic Davions against that Liao rabble. ;) |
