"Historicon 2016" Topic

I received the Mini Fig Prussian Fusiliers and enough for 2 musketeers battalions to replace the "Russian" uniform Leib Regt I did over 36 years ago. They will get stripped and turned into real Russians. I'm hoping this will get me painting again, not that I don't have a million other things to do.

I see the PEL is out and Registration starts May 13. Does anybody have an idea on what the new convention shirt will look like?
What about vendors that will be attending? Is there a preliminary list?

#1 – most likely a yes.
#2 – the vendors who will be attending know who they are.
#3 – a distinct possibility.

Sorry, just kidding. The shirt designs sometimes make the discussion boards, but not always. I think it is a little early for the vendors list. They usually take all comers up to the last minute. However, closer to the con date, usually someone will get a thread started. I, too, like to see the vendor list so I can start making my project and shopping lists.

Are we ready for the Flea Market thread yet?

Vendor initial deadline is May 15th for registration, so yep a little early. I will only be filling out my request for the show this morning as I hate to tie up capital for a show that is 2 months out. Kind of like paying taxes, you wait until the last moment.

Will the convention have Wifi?

I have thrown in to go this year,just because I havent gone to an East show in 6 years,and would like to.

Is the driving through northern Virginia rants about to start?

Speaking as one who lives in Northern Virginia – rant away, you don't have to live with the traffic every. single. ing. DAY!!!

Anyone know which May the 13th was intended for registration to open?

Historicon online registrations is supposed to open today.
Do anybody knows at what time the registration should open ?

As of 10:30 PM EST no registration yet.

I just registered. It is tricky. I emailed a question and Heather got back to me with the how to.

I did not see t-shirts but there is a lapel pin.
Note at the top of registration page:
T-SHIRTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME AS PRICE AND COLOR IS PENDING

Yeah it worked about 10 minutes after my last post.

For the t-shirt can we get a picture of it well in advance. I refuse to purchase sight unseen.

I have it on my calendar and have requested off weds and Thursday.
