I'm assembling a new command base for my British army for the Sikh War. I've got a nice figure for Gough and one that might do for Hardinge. I wonder if anyone knows if Hardinge wore a cocked hat during the campaign? Thanks in advance. It seems Bob Sale did, interesting to see Florentina too.

They are great aren't they. I guess they must have been made after the retreat from Kabul where Florentina accompanied Sale but before Mudki where he was fatally wounded. I don't own them, I just found the photo and thought it might interest folk here. I've since found contemporary images of British General's wearing the cocked hat in the field – which is what I was after. |

I have my Hardinge in a cocked Hat. Not based on any source. I had a lot of Minifigs British Staff officers in cocked hat and wanted to use one as him to visually mark him out as a figure of rank. |
