No, I'm not using some cute euphemism for something that's possibly banned in several countries but the concept that you can never leave a "finished" figure, unit, army alone. Do you periodically pick up a paintbrush & just add that bit of highlight, change a colour, touch up a shaky line with figures long since finished & even veterans of several tabletop encounters? I'm not talking repairs but cosmetic tweaks. |

Almost never. I might repaint something that has been painted a long time ago when I wasn't as skilled as I am now. I'll certainly fix chips and broken spears and what not, but I never paint something that is on the table for some minor thing. |
Doug MSC | 10 May 2016 5:03 p.m. PST |
No, as Pictors Studio stated, just repair things occasionally that may break or chip. |
John Armatys | 10 May 2016 5:10 p.m. PST |
No. Once it is varnished it is done. |
Chris Palmer | 10 May 2016 5:54 p.m. PST |
Nope. Too many new unpainted figures out there to be painted, to want to mess around with stuff that's already been finished before. |

Sadly, yes, far too often. Just this past week I've removed and swapped weapons on some (very) old Rafm Indians, repainted another half-dozen and re-done the flocking on 30 figures to better match the rest of the collection. Also, I buy lots and lots of painted figures, and I can rarely rest without substantially repainting them. OCD much? Combined with HADD (Hobby Attention Deficit Disorder) is why nothing ever gets done around here…But somehow I'm happy. |

Almost never. If it's a very old unit with some damage, I might go back and touch up the paint job, but usually there too many new units to complete. |
Ragbones | 10 May 2016 6:47 p.m. PST |
No. Once they're Dullcoted and based they're DONE. |
Grignotage | 10 May 2016 7:41 p.m. PST |
I occasionally repaint stuff that I'm not happy with. But I don't routinely add or adjust stuff that has been painted. |

Only if a repair is required. |

No. Mind you, it is VERY MUCH in my nature, but I have developed a system to prevent it. I usually declare minis "100%" at the end of one session (when I'm also usually quite tired of looking at them, and not necessarily a reliable judge of what may have a stray swipe of the brush somewhere). I then come back the next time, maybe tweak a little, maybe not, then it's officially "done", and goes in the sealing queue. I find that once a mini has been signed off on and sealed, I almost never question my judgement, so its all otherwise pointless OCD misery. I guess the sealing is as much to ensure that I WILL leave the mini alone, as well as to actually protect the paint job. This DOES NOT take into consideration minis I painted decades ago, when my skills were iffier, and color schemes often pimptastic. |

No, although I did once paint out a load of vehicle markings to make them more generic. Once they are based they are done. |

If I spot a bit of gloss varnish, indicating I've missed with the matt varnish, I'll touch that in when next varnishing. If I have to make a repair of any sort then I might touch up other paintwork. |

heaven's no. It was a major issue at the Emergency management office when I worked there. Emergency messages need to be complete and clear with no confusion. It would be difficult to relate the complete situation or actions needed in a tweet. So even since I left, i have had no use for tweets. Sadly my wife does. LOL! |

When it is done, it is done. Fixing damage? yes. Bringing it up to 'current standards'? No. |

No. It is hard enough getting them painted in the first place |

You're a wise man, Rudy, and that's better than being smart. My phone is smarter than I am. Now, what good is that? |

Once a figure is done, it's done. I did have an army for 40K way back, where I'd add little kill markings. |
HidaSeku | 12 May 2016 9:47 a.m. PST |
Very, very rarely. I tell myself not to, but sometimes I can see that just one highlight or two would really make the miniature look better. |

Nope. Too much new stuff to paint to worry about what's already painted. |
