A big thank you to Doug and the Falkirk Club for all the help and for giving us a table on the day, we really appreciated it. We managed to raise £1,400.00 GBP for the Motor Neurone Disease charity on the day, which was a great surprise as we were not sure what we would make, also thanks to everybody who made donations. |

For us punters it was a great day too so thanks to Falkirk wargamers. I think Jim D did well too raising funds for Battle Stress but he will no doubt report directly on that himself. |

Excellent result – a really great way to take something positive out of a sad event |

@Jimboba I thought it was a great show too, it always is at Carronade. It was obviously a tiring day for yourself, you must have been 'Battle Stressed' out. I raised just over £100.00 GBP on the day for Combat Stress, another £20.00 GBP towards the Motor Neurone Disease guys on the neighbouring stand and £20.00 GBP to the Falkirk club for their own charity. The overall grand total that I've raised for charity, the bulk of which has gone to Combat Stress is around £10,000.00 GBP spread over two years worth of shows. I am now winding this charitable drive up as the collections belonging to Iain Holt who died in November 2013 have largely been sold. I took the last few books to a charity shop today and there is next to nothing left figure wise. Many thanks to everyone who helped out in any fashion and in particular to the Falkirk guys for a great day at Carronade. |

Those are healthy sums getting raised for charity. Well done fellas. Some impressive games were getting played yesterday and I got tips for beard adornment at the Blood Eagle demo. Made it an interesting day. Thanks to all involved. |

We decided to pass Jim's donation and Dave Douglas's on to Andy's Motor Neuron fund too, another £45.00 GBP in all. It was another successful show with record attendance. Everyone had a good day as far as I could tell – traders, gamers and visitors alike. Doug Thomson Falkirk District Wargames Club |
