I have just posted a fairly in-depth write-up of the epic Saga game I had last night with my wife and friend.

Our group hasn't bought the Crescent and Cross rules, being content to play regular old Saga. Perhaps we should, though: this sounds like the sort of scenario we would like. nice figures! Grelber |

nice figures, beautifull terrain, good account of the battle just 1 remark, you can only bring in 1 new unit per turn Alex |

C and C is definitely worth it imho…think of it as Saga Rev 2. |

Nice to see you have the right colour for pennants and banner for your hospitallers. |

All credit for the Saracens goes to my wife and friend, who each painted their own armies. I had it easy-ish with the Hospitalliers (though making troops dressed entirely in black look decent brings its own challenges). They are Legio Heroica figures, which are top-notch – I don't know if you can get nicer 15mm figures for this period anywhere. The terrain is all stuff I had previously created for my modern Afghanistan games, except for the palm trees. |

Crescent & Cross actually makes the original Saga much better. |

Wait, those are 15mil???? Does she do commission? I will need 9 points of Saracens from GP plastics done. Those colors are amazing! I'll get shield decals from the beast |
