I know a lot of the 1/100th (15mm) companies are turning to plastics. So I was wondering if any has come out with Afrika Korps infantry figs as yet? |

To my mind regular German troops in plastic would do very well as DAK troops, as the only difference (really) in the uniform would be the colors used to paint them! |

Well, to some extent that is true, but they also had the option of shorts and short sleeves, and if they didn't do short sleeves, they would sometimes roll up the sleeves. So, mix and match regular Germans with some of the others (PSC has early war Germans, but no DAK) |

I was under the impression from an email that I received from PSC that they were going to do the North African theater in 2015 or 2016. Sadly, no sign of them… |

Actually there were a few main differences in the DAK uniform. As mentioned by Landori you would have some wearing the ubiquitous shorts and having the sleeves rolled up. Also the DAK wore a shoe with calf high gaiters that often looks like a tall laced up boot. Then there are the most prized possession of those fighting in North Africa the googles. While not every miniature would need to reflect these items they are what distinctly say DAK. I would love to see some 15mm plastic DAK BTW as well as the British Commonwealth forces and the Italians. |
