Yes, Tango, I agree they look good! The Austrians look like Drespitz (Spelling?). He stopped selling and did not have command for them. They were noticibly larger than Black Hussar. The price seems high for just the two figures shown in the pictures. Hagan does not explain how many you get for that price nor the manufacturer/owner of the line. AFAIK, this is a dead line. I hope I am wrong. The Prussians look really good! Nice poses, proportion and detail. Seems everyone has Prussians available but darned few Austrians- the main opponent for the Prussians. Uwe: If you see this, can you please expand upon plans for growing of these two lines? Thanks. v/r Tom |

Hi Tom, you are right, they are the old Dreispitz-Miniaturen. The size is the same as Old Glory (says the owner). On our Homepage you can read that there are 8 figures in the set. And the range will be expanded, Michael (Dreispitz) told me that he already has some wishes for commandsets etc. which Massimo will sculpt for him. cheers uwe |

Are these available yet? If not, there may be a chance to make the piece of fabric across the Prussian ensign's chest less like a sash, and more like the folded oilcloth flag cover it was. |

Glad you like them my friend. Amicalement Armand |

Thanks, Uwe, for this info. I compared my Dreispitz next to an Old Glory and they are close. Of course, different sculpting styles and detail come into play, but the slight difference in height is negligible, IMHO. Would it be possible to order 8 of the same so I can complete units or is the only option is an assortment? Again, I could not tell from what was on the site. Also good to hear that command will also become availabe at some point. Those Prussians are extremely well done! Wonder how they compare next to Black Hussar? Will the standard bearer be available without a cast on flag? (I am one who just can't paint flags and there are now so many great papers ones available!) Nice to see some "charging" poses with some animation once again. Folks, Uwe runs a really great mail order service. I have ordered quite a bit of 20mm figs from him and they have always come well packed and quickly! While the postage might seem high, you will appreciate the package when it arrives. Again, Thanks Uwe, for answering these questions so quickly. v/r Tom |

Hi Tom, Michael just sent us 6 sets of his Dreispitz-Figuren for a start. Please send me a mail and tell me which pose you would like and I can give him a phonecall to send them to your directly. At the moment I have no idea how the Prussian will compare to other ranges. Andy will make the mould and send me some samples over in 2-3 weeks I hope. And yes I am a fan of paper flags too, so no worry he will come as you like him:-) I am glad you like the service. Here the praise goes to Andy who does the casting and sends the figures. As for postage I recognised that a lot of international collector use "package" instead of registered letter when ordering. From Germany you can send a registered letter around the world. Price depends on the weight, up to 500 gramm 5,50 Euros, up to 1000 gramm 7,50 Euros when I have it right in mind. And an average 1/72 foot-figure ist just 6 gramm. So you could safe money with your order. cheers Uwe |
