They make up 10% or so of the population, so why does no one make any left-handed figures ? Surely easy enough to have included 1 left arm with a weapon on a sprue of 10 figures ?

I would guess because weapons don't come in left and right handed options and are designed for one method of use. Left-handed pikemen in the phalanx or left-handed musketeers in the firing line would cause great disruption.

Until the last fifty years or so, left-handedness was discouraged and naturally left-handed children were forced to learn to write with their right hand.

Swords Pikes and Spears have no handed traits.

Suppression of left-handers? That would be a dexter plot, not a sinister one!

"Suppression of left-handers? That would be a dexter plot, not a sinister one!"
I'm kind of ambivalent on how I feel about that statement.
