Well, I gave the Stormhammer a shot, but I can't shake the feeling that I got the proportions wrong somehow. "Does this applique armor make my butt look fat?"

I hope you will all find this thing positively riveting.

I like the shape but I'll be honest: the rivets really make it look like Legos. I love the whole land battleship thing but I'd like one without rivets please (in which case I want 3).

Mooseworks803 May 2016 7:44 p.m. PST

I like it.

McWong7303 May 2016 8:16 p.m. PST

I like it too, but agree the rivets are a tad overboard. Maybe remove every second one?

At 6mm the rivets aren't worth it anyway. I'd dump them STAT. Are you sure there are enough turrets? :) I'm also a land battleship fan, so, there ain't never enough guns on a tank. Good job, but I'd hate to be on the crew.

Well, here is a "clean-shaven" version. Maybe call it the Norelco-pattern StormMallet!

John Da law04 May 2016 12:02 a.m. PST

There literally would not be enough room inside that thing for the ammo that would be needed for all those guns!!!! I love the look but wow. Class 10 improbable 😉

McWong7304 May 2016 1:49 a.m. PST

That is uber.

Ivan DBA04 May 2016 1:53 a.m. PST

I think the rivets were fine, except for the ones on the sides of every turret.

moonfleetminis04 May 2016 4:31 a.m. PST

I like it also. specifically the streamlined version.
The one with teh rivets looks good but i think the rivets dont transfer well from the render, i wonder if on a printed version would the rivets be so prominent.

but, needs more skulls :)

Brandlin04 May 2016 4:54 a.m. PST

Oh dear.

11 turrets (well, six turrets, four sponsons and a spine mount) , 22 weapons? Exhaust pipes? Rivets?

Nowhere for crew, ammunition, propulsion, fuel (of whatever variety).

Frederick Supporting Member of TMP04 May 2016 7:34 a.m. PST

Very nice – further to Brandlin's comments, where is the warehouse to tow for the ammo?

Personal logo javelin98 Supporting Member of TMP04 May 2016 8:08 a.m. PST

Pshaw! Those guns don't shoot ammo -- they shoot pain!

Cullen04 May 2016 8:32 a.m. PST

From a real-world perspective, it's insane, ludicrous, etc etc.

From a GrimDark perspective….."Ladz, I fink we need sum more stikk-bombz….ladz??"

Nuclear powered fusion cannon autonomous death machine Mark I.

Where can we get them?

Norman D Landings04 May 2016 12:00 p.m. PST

Bad news, Javelin.

I'm afraid you have….

…Turrette's Syndrome.

Mean looking….I like the version minus the rivets…..

As a possible solution, perhaps they print ammo-on demand?

parrot150005 May 2016 9:00 a.m. PST

If I bought these (who am I kidding – WHEN I BUY A DOZEN) I would leave off the small turrets and maybe fill in the hole with gap filling glue. Bam, ammo issue solved.

And by a dozen, I mean 20.

And by Buy I mean HURRY I NEEDS IT I NEEDS THE PRECIOUS.

Some of the weapons many not be conventional … like Lasers or as Crispy mentioned fusion and I'm sure there is more.

Of course it is sci-fi. If you like something a bit more "realistic" there is always GHQ and PFC …

And no one is forcing anyone to buy Stormmallets … huh?

Norman D Landings +1 laugh

Personal logo javelin98 Supporting Member of TMP05 May 2016 12:01 p.m. PST

I think the sponson-mounted weapons are meltas, so no ammo there. But, yeah, it's sci-fi! Frankly, it's pretty restrained compared to some of the old Epic stuff (like the original Demolisher Rhino variant, which looked like it could possibly hold just one round!).

Agreed ! thumbs up

Moe the Great06 May 2016 3:49 a.m. PST

I like the no rivets version, but don't you have something with a little more firepower? :-)

These are now available!

You have some really nice stuff on your Shapeways page.

I'll have to pickup some of the Swimming pools for my 15mm zombie table.

Cool! I kind of thought those would be an interesting twist -- a terrain feature that blocks movement but doesn't provide cover or concealment. I guess a chain-link fence would achieve the same effect, but I'm going to conveniently ignore that for now.

Moe the Great06 May 2016 12:02 p.m. PST

Any Chance on getting some curb side Mailboxes?(the ones you would have at your house for your mail.)

Personal logo javelin98 Supporting Member of TMP06 May 2016 1:30 p.m. PST

Of course! I'll whip some up this weekend and send you some pics to look over.

Ah, and don't forget -- I also have some vending machines and picnic tables, if you need urban décor.
