"Little Wars 2016- Thanks!" Topic

I know I had some specific criticisms in the other thread on Little Wars and suggestions for improvements, but I don't want that to take away from what was a successful show in a great new venue.

I also want to publicly thank Steve Rysemus, the volunteers and the HMGS Midwest crew for working so very hard to organize an run a terrific historical minis focused show that is first rate. I know it is often a thankless job you do, and I wanted to make sure that you know that work is appreciated.

Steve does a great job, there are few people that really know all he has taken on to make the convention work. From laying out all the event space, coordination with all the other managers, emails, managing the web site, layout of the program book, scheduling events, just to name some of the things that he does. Manning the event desk, set up. The guys from St Louis that take in the pre-registrations and put together the packets and spend most of the convention registering people. Yonan that spends most of the con trying to run the Flea Market. Dave and Anne Herman that give so many hours of their time to print badges, back up others, make brownies. And there are others that step in to run the desks so that these guys get to play or run games. They all pay to get in the convention just like everyone else. They are great people and do great work.
