"FOG CON Needs Miniature Games" Topic

It has been said many times before and it is still true. A game convention is only as good as the games being run.

With that in mind, FOG CON is in need of some good miniatures games. Fantasy, Sci-fi or Historical it doesn't matter. If you have a game you would like to set up and let others Oooo and Ahhh over, please come share it with us. You are probably going to make a few new friends in the process.

Remember also that if you run two games you get half off admission and if you run three or more you get in free for the weekend.

Sorry about that! I made this post a couple of weeks ago and I just assumed everyone had seen it. Here it is again for everyone that missed it the first time.

Our third annual FOG CON is coming up on June 3rd, 4th and 5th at the Avanti's Dome in Pekin, Il.
This year we are up to 15 vendors for your shopping pleasure.
We are also proud to have the SCA again this year in full armor demonstrating how people used to beat the crap out of each other way back when. The SCA will also have booths demonstrating how people lived when they weren't braining each other with swords and maces (calligraphy, needlepoint, blacksmithing, etc…). This is great entertainment for the entire family and will be going on all weekend.
This year we have a 400+ board game library available in conjunction with Play To Win. So if you love board games come and play a game that you were maybe interested in but not sure if you wanted to buy. You just may win a free game in the process.
We are also happy to announce that we will be having MAGIC tournaments and special events all three days hosted by Die Hard Games out of Springfield, Il. Please go to the website for more details. I don't play MAGIC myself, and I'm likely to screw up any description I try to give.
I am told that Hank Edley from Adepticon will be hosting his Warhammer 40K Tournament again this year. Thank You Hank!!!
There will be two X-Wing tournaments this year. Go Empire!
As always there will be Pathfinder RPG sessions run by the Pathfinder Society, as well as many other Fantasy and Sci Fi RPG's.
The miniatures area will have a large variety of games from AWI to ALIENS, and many things in between.

Weekend Pre-Register $23.00 USD USD
Weekend at the door $33.00 USD USD
Friday only $11.00 USD USD
Saturday only $16.00 USD USD
Sunday only $11.00 USD USD

In addition, run two games and get half off admission, run three games and get in the con for free.
