Nice pics. I also wonder looking at them if maybe next year they will space the tables out and maybe put the "aisle" such as you described in there. Too bad I couldn't make it. Work and all.. Oh well…there is always next year…. |

Looks like some nice games. Nothing but good reports about this year's con and the new venue. Well done organizers! |

It was very good, but I think they had way too many tables out there and it made it look at times half empty. I wanted to talk to the person who put on the 20mm Pegasus Bridge game as the bridge looked like the one I sold off a few years ago. |

I agree that the tables should have been arranged differently & would have made things better. |

We had a great time at Little Wars this year. The 'Westin' was an outstanding venue…the best by far Little Wars has ever operated in. The staff at the Westin was extremely professional, attentive and the HMGS 'Little Wars Convention Team' worked extremely hard to make sure everyone had an enjoyable experience. The Vendor Hall was the most decorative & attractive room we've ever set up in (by far) and the attendee's had a vast selection of New stuff to buy from all the V's that were present. Several 'Game Masters' presented some World Class 1st rate games and the over all genre mix was very well received. Almost everyone I chatted with said it was one of the very best Con's they ever attended. I hope the Westin can be the new home of LW. I salute the convention director & his staff for presenting a well designed, organized & invigorating show. Well done lads. -SP |

Well everyone would have to do there very best because the first year in a new venue is the one that everyone will judge it by. Wish I could have gone. Thanks for all of the pictures that everyone posted. |

I agree with Legends--top notch LW venue with good nightly room rate (quiet, almost sound-proof rooms), and tons of space! It was nice having separate areas for gaming, vendors, flea market, and War College. AND (brace yourself) very large, clean restrooms everywhere. Only complaint I heard while waiting in lines (for flea market to open) was about the cost/quality of the con food served in the hallways. And the rain. Someone ordered way too much rain. |

Hats off and a job well done to the organizers, staff and attendees of Little Wars. I was only able to make it up for Saturday this year, but my boys and I had a great time. Gorgon Studios was setup all three days, and brought some of our unreleased items. It was good to be back at the Westin, and it was nice to see some fantastic games, folks having a good time and many of the same excellent staff ( my favorite bartender Maria, and Paulie) still providing top notch service at the venue. -Hank |

Thanks for recommending the location Hank. The people at the Westin are a pleasure to deal with. I look forward to next years convention. A shame we did not get a chance to talk. |
