Very nice fleet with color appropriate to the movies but to me they need a bit of color like your rebels to enhance them. Even a bit of black or dark grey to break up the grey would work. |

I have struggled with that as well, unfortunately I haven't figured out how or where to paint those extra colors. In the movies Imperial ships appear a uniform grey, at least to me. |

A wash might help add some tone and depth. But lovely fleet either way! |

These really looked great. Thats 2 great fleets.
I'd love to know what maker(s) you got your models/ miniatures from? I too have loved the Venator class SD from the moment it appeared on the screen. So I jumped at getting 3 of them yrs ago on ebay. Now with the release of Armada, the prices for SWSFB's are coming down (some) on the Miniature Market and more are becoming available.
One Major issue: the crooked 'tail fins' (Assault Cruiser). Armada's ships are beautiful, but OMG, who can really 'fork over $40 USD – $60 USD or more for ONE ship?! |
