You know having been over there in that time period something about the uniforms strikes me as off. Plus it was in the 50s and drizzly so that had an effect on everything even though those guys stripped to the bare essentials to move fast across open areas as narrow as narrow streets. |

In many og the photos of the real battle the US troops are wearing rain gear – oversuits that alter the way everything hangs. Also – these seem too blue-green. But that could be the lighting. The date on the diorama is 1968. Perhaps Tango mistyped and titles can't be edited. I like the action and cohesion of the diorama. Having 6 obviously Caucasian troops with the only black guy a casualty seems atypical for 1968 – but certainly not impossible.
