I recently started a collection Roman and Carthaginian quinqueremes in both 1/1200 and 1/600 scales. I have been looking for decals or transfers that might look nice on the sails. (I know they weren't used in battle.) Things like Roman eagle emblems or something like that. Does any one know of anything? |

I'm not sure exactly how big the sails on 1/1200 and 1/600 ships are, but Veni Vidi Vici carries Hellenic, Punic and Roman shield transfers for 15mm figs. Here are the Hellenes, with some Punic (Tanit, palm trees, elephants) at the end: link If those are too big, VVV also make a less extensive range for 10mm figs. |

Depending on sail size etc. I would use either VVV or little big men studios transfers, I think both companies should have more than enough choices for you for your galleys. Aynsley |
