I honestly figured that would be the case when I saw the movie the first time! |

I have a buddy who is a full-on Star Wars nut and he's been advancing the clone theory since he saw the movie. He's certainly crowing about the possibility of being right right now! |

Of course she is. Duh. Blatantly obvious, given the creepy interactions between her and Kylo, her desert planet upbringing, and so forth. But it won't be the Reddit thing. That's just utterly bogus, especially as the concept would bring back the one of the most hated elements of the despised prequels. |

And she can't be a clone, not technically, at least of Luke. A true clone would be identical to Luke. I suppose it could be female, but it would still have Luke's facial structure, height, and overall body type— "Marika Hamill," if you will. She doesn't. Now, she *could* be a clone of Leia, as she looks very like her. But I'm going with daughter of Luke, which would still allow for some resemblance to Leia, since the niece of Luke's twin sister might well bear family resemblance. She's clearly been cast to have an almost Leia/Padme look to her. I'd wondered if she might actually be Han and Leia's daughter (Kylo's twin or at least younger sister), but Leia didn't seem to react to her that way in the film at all. So I'm going with Luke's daughter. And yeah, SBminisguy, since that's Luke's original lightsaber, formerly Anakin's, lost on Bespin in the fight with Vader, who the heck found it, where, and how? And did they find and keep the hand, too? (Which WOULD be a potential source for clone material…) |

I definitely agree she is part of Luke in some way and daughter makes the best sense. She was much more stronger than Kylo, which again makes sense if she is part of the direct line from Anakin. I also think she at least had some youngling training as well. Some of the things she did during the movie seemed comparable to that level of development. Larry |

she is the chosen one born of the force -- like Anikin -- she is to bring balance once again to the force. we will see Luke train her while Kylo is trained and fin is off on a mission and gets in to trouble and she will sense it and want to leave her training to save her friend and unlike Yoda Luke will go along to help and continue her training. movie will end with a cliffhanger of confronting snoke |
