Quite an odd one, honestly …For I've painted a small platoon of 1:72 Sadurní tanks. Such was the real thing look:
And this is what I've managed to assemble and paint (and customize to some degree):
I haven't assembled them just as they were, but have drawn out some pieces form my spare parts box so as to customize all them at some degree. For instance, they all have been added mudguards (either coming from its tractor version, or from a cannibalized T-26 kit from Mirage).
Or I have also tried equipping them with headlights in varying positions, as you can see.
Also, I was curious to see if this tank could have been actually improved by a better armament, so I replaced the MG of one for a small gun (a 37mm or so perhaps). Then I realized this would leave barely any room for the 2nd crewman and gun altogether, so I enlargened its internal space rearwards. Well, there is room enough now, but no chances for a third crewman either. Well, at least I had some fun at trying!
Not any master pieces actually, but I think they still look pretty nice, anyway.
Cheers, Lluís |

Looks good Lluís! Nice work. I would guess a 20mm gun would be a good fit on these and there were plenty available in the SCW. |

You're right CaptainDarling, I should have thought of this. It still doesn't prevent the vehicle commander to double as gunner, sadly. And if enlargening hull even larger so as to fit that much needed 3rd crewman, then its 60HP engine would become plainly incapable to carry with it all. Prior to performing that particular customization, I had tried before to add a turret to it (just what the Spanish Republic War Ministry requested, BTW) using any of those already existing for other AFVs of that war --but felt unhappy with most of choices and gave up. Any suggestions for a future new trial? |

Nice models and interesting 'developments'! How about a single offset turret from the twin turret T26? Positioned over the commanders side………..or enlarge the superstructure 'box' forwards and rearwards to fit a 45mm armed T-26 turret? |

I would be hard pressed not to make "wroom wroom" sounds when moving these guys around a table. Very nice work. |
