No, not at all. But I highly recommend it if you can get a copy, it has some great scenarios!

If looking for scenarios to go with the game, what Tin Man says. Crossfire is a great set of rules, infantry focused, so does not handle vehicles well, but definitely one of my favorite rules sets.

It's a pile of scenarios and some special rules that are handy if making your own, but not needed.
