Hi All To keep my energy going on my 1919 Polish Army I thought I might add an update both her and on my blog; gapagnw.blogspot.co.uk I already have a largeish Russian Civil War army which included a small number of Poles and the more I read about the Polish Army the more I wanted to do it. Below are some pictures, many of these are conversions hope you like it. [URL=http://s574.photobucket.com/user/rogercas/media/100_58031_zpsrdmppgzb.jpg.html]

Looking very sharp and you do a fantastic job painting :) Quite a lot of the Polish army was kitted out in French or even German gear, so you can get away with a bewildering array of figures. You can also do up Ukrainian nationalists for them to fight, during the Polish invasion of the Ukraine as well as the usual rogues gallery of RCW bandits, anarchists and assorted locals. Very colourful period. |

Thanks Weasel This is what attracted me to it. I already have a decent sized red army to fight my whites. I want the Poles to be quite eclectic. |

I agree, what a great job and a great subject to game. Mark, would you be willing to share your family photos from that time? |
Pan Marek | 28 Apr 2016 8:18 a.m. PST |
I would if I was the one who had them, and if I had any idea how to post them. My 83 year old dad has them! |

Picture of the command base for the Polish Guard Uhlans of the Russian Guard. These guys fought in the Civil War as well as WW1 and then marched into Poland once the new country had been formed. [URL=http://s574.photobucket.com/user/rogercas/media/100_2401.jpg.html]
