Bought both the 1/32 version and the 1/72nd kit. Also the Desert version but never got the Jungle one. Fatman |

That is so sweet…I'd be very tempted to get a 1/32 version if I could paint like that. |

Nice to see, the 1/32 version was my very first bit of war-games scenery. Admittedly the rules were throw marbles at army men till they all fall over but it was a very long time ago. |

I only ever saw that in a shop once, couldn't afford it, and never saw it again. I was traumatized at a young age, I tell you! |

Seeing Airfix kits like this cause floods of nostalgia. I think I had this at some stage (from a swap). My first bit of large Airfix terrain was Fort Sahara. Same rules as Timbo – although I also used my matchstick-firing 25 pounder! |

Does the 1/72 one fit the map in Airfix Battles? |

He's done more than you think, he's thickened the wall sections up, as they were originally thin plastic, great work, fella! John |

Not only are both sizes still available but Amera make a vac formed base for the 1/72 to really allow one to be nostalgic |

Nice work on the shingles. I have that kit in 1/72 and use it all the time on the table. |

I have three of these waiting to be built. Classic stuff! |
