Anyone know the aaproximate vallejo match for PSC Infantry Russian Uniform Spray? I'm just getting back into gaming and I bought the FOW Open Fire Box Set.The spray looks like a nice green color which I could use as a base for the us paratroopers? I already have some vallejo paints which I used to paint up some plastic soldiers and tanks for my son. I plan on buying the PSC Tank German Dunkelgelb, Tank British and Infantry German Field Grey. Based on previous posts here is what everyone else shared about PSC Warprays and their Vallejo approximate match: Tank Mid-Late War German Dunkelgelb SP001 – Middlestone Vallejo 882 Tank Early War German Panzer Grey SP002 – German Grey Vallejo 995 Tank Russian SP003 – Russian Green Vallejo 894 Tank British SP004 – Russian Uniform Vallejo 924 Tank United States SP005 – Brown Violet Vallejo 887 Infantry German Field Grey SP006 – German Field Grey Vallejo 830 Infantry Russian Uniform SP007 – ?????????????? Infantry British Khaki SP008 – English Uniform Vallejo 921 Infantry Spray US Olive Drab SP009 – US Field Drab 873 |

Thank you for the response. I think, based on what I read in past posts, Russian Uniform Vallejo 924 is what gamers like to use for late war British AFV and British helmets/equipment. Forgive my ignorance since I'm new to this forum and WW2 gaming (I played WH 40K as a youth back in the Rogue Trader Era when uniform color was not a concern). |

Yes, I use 924 for British vehicles. I wash it with browns, mud and dust. But if memory serves me it is very similar to the PSC Russian uniform. |

Thanks for your replies wrgmr1. I haved used Vallejo 924 for British vechiles as well. I guess I created a bit of confussion. PSC makes an Infantry and Tank Spray for the Russians. link I was hoping to use the Russian Infantry Spray SP007 as a base coat for US paratroopers, but I don't know if it matches vallejo US Dark Green 893. |

Just to clarify, according to Will at PSC it matches Vallejo Russian Uniform. |

And as to late war British AFV, helmets and equipment I prefer a 50/50 mix of 888 and 924. Whats nice is Vallejo makes a mixing bottle that easily holds two of their paint bottles. |

Thanks all for the replies, I thought this thread died a few months back. Since then I have enjoyed using the PSC tank and infantry spray. Almost done with the FOW Open Fire Box Set! I bought the PSC Infantry Russian Uniform SP007… it is definately brown with green undertones. I don't think you could use it for US Paratroopers. I ended up using Vallejo US Dark Green 893 via brush. There weren't that many to paint. |
