Im just curious so I dont go and recreate the wheel. Is these a downloadable sheet of generic Napoleonic chits that only show units, maybe command structures, troop type and arty #? I have some experience making these but like I said, if I can avoid the work… |

The stickers from Commands and Colors? That kind of thing? |

Are you asking for unit symbols, top-downs or something else? |

I was thinking something like these: link The color coded stripes to indicate divisions would be extremely useful. I wouldn't want to make it much more complicates than this. If I could figure out a way to keep the board entirely clear of tags I would (I have an idea for that which I'm working on…) but for a convention game it's definitely going to need some sort of structuring system to keep it all together. It's not a big deal. Actually, if I end up making some of my own I'll post them on my blog as PDFs so anyone who needs a set of these can download them, as well as some generic ones. |

There is a very useful sets of fonts called "Mapsymbs" at mapsymbs.com that you can use to create your own labels like the ones you want. The symbols can be used in various programs such as PowerPoint to create org charts, too. Ed |

Chits? Oh, you mean counters. There use to be a lot of them. But since the end of SPI and AH I don't who makes them with NATO symbols on them. You might try Desert Fox or GMT. Any military boardgame company. |

You can use Post It note flags. So 1st corps = pink, and then each division you can just had write a number or use a colored dot (pink/green = 1st division, pink/red 2nd division etc). Cheap, easy, fast and temporary…. |

EC- We used to use those post-it note page tabs for symbolism back in my day (ten years ago…). Those are in fact exactly what the military uses in real operations. |
